I have entered a fun challenge on one of my photography forums called “The ABC Challenge”. The rules are to submit one photo for each letter of the alphabet – but they had to be taken AFTER March 12th of this year! So, I went back through the sessions I had between March 12th and April 30th. Some of these are a stretch, I admit, but it was fun to try to find these 26 photos from my last few sessions (I had a lot of newborns this past month!) and I hope you’ll enjoy browsing through them, too!

Announcing Kimberlin Gray Photography’s “Milestones Package”. With all the newborns I’ve had recently, it’s been on my mind. How can I maximize savings for those who want to capture all the stages of their baby’s first year? So, I have re-vamped my Baby Plan to hopefully do just that for all those who have or are having a new bundle of joy!
Included in the Milestones Package are four sessions – 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and a 1st Birthday Cake Smash! After each session, you receive one 8×10 and two 5×7’s as well as a 20% discount on any prints or digital files, if you choose. The final result will be a 10×20 storyboard featuring your favorite photo from each of the sessions and will be standout mounted! …and everything nice. That’s what little girls are made of. And this sweetheart’s Dramatic Delivery was definitely part sugar and part spice! I was lucky to spend a few hours with her on Friday to capture that precious newborn stage that passes so quickly. There is nothing quite like a bendy, sleepy newborn baby.

It is an amazing thing to bring a baby into the world and even more awesome to do it on your own terms. I was thrilled to be asked to be present at a planned home birth – and this one was exciting in a way I never imagined!
I arrived to find a strong mother in the heart of strong labor pains. She and her birth team – supportive husband, comforting doula, competent midwives – were all there, ready to welcome this new life into the world.
But, after quite a few hours of hard labor, they made the decision to go to the hospital to be sure that mother and child would be safe. It got very hectic, very fast and I followed them as far as possible.
When I met up with them again, I was so happy to see a healthy mom holding a beautiful 10lb bundle of joy. Yes, I said 10lbs!!! Just look at those chubby cheeks – she is so squeezable!
You did an amazing job, Jenna and I am so privileged to have been allowed to witness and capture this momentous occasion.
Oh, and one last thing – I visited them at home today and have some of the most ADORABLE photos to share with you soon of this gorgeous girl!

What is a Mini-Session?
Mini sessions are a wonderful way to get a taste of a custom photography session with me. You get to experience a smaller session at a smaller price. All images are treated just as they are in my full sessions, there are just fewer images to choose from. A mini-session is for those who might be saving their pennies, but appreciate custom photography. Maybe you heard about me through a friend and want to see what I’m all about, or perhaps you are just looking for a few updated images and appreciate the savings and opportunity of these limited sessions. Your spot is only secured with payment via PayPal to kimberlin.gray@gmail.com or by bringing a check to me directly. Please be sure to give your name and e-mail address when you send payment online – I will confirm your payment and time slot by e-mail. These will go fast, so book now!
For the Mommy and Me Mini-sessions, I will be including a complimentary mini print package which includes an 8×10 and two 5×7’s as well as special prices on additional prints and digital files. The fee for this special is $75 and there is no minimum purchase required. So this means if you only want the mini print package, then you are not obligated to buy any additional prints. Consider this my mother’s day gift to all the mommies out there! Here are the details:

When is it? Saturday, May 8th ~ 8-11am and 4-7pm
I gave my Facebook Fans first dibs on these, so there are only four time slots left! 8:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 5:00pm

The fine print:
Call or email to book your session – these are available on a first come, first serve basis only
Fee is due at time of booking to hold your session. If you have to cancel for any reason, fee can be applied to regular session in the future.
Mom and up to two children included in fee. Additional children $10 -includes extra time for your session.
Sessions will be scheduled every 30 minutes, late arrivals will not be accommodated. Thank you for understanding!
Galleries will be ready in 7 days from the event date and will be active for 7 additional days for purchases.
If it’s raining on May 8th, I have designated the following Saturday, May 15th, as the make up session date.
