I just love my Milestones babies! They are always so adorable – it’s so cool to see how they grow and change, and it sometimes feels like visiting family when we get together! This past weekend, I got to meet up with
First, I got together again with one of my favorite little fighters. His newborn session produced one of my personal Favorite Photos of 2010 and we met up again when he was a few months old for his second Milestone session. This one was supposed to be a 6 month session, but because he was a preemie, we adjusted it a bit for him. He’s turning 9 months old this week – what a HAM (well, as long as the paci isn’t far away!!!)
Then, it was this cute little redhead who is now three months old – I can hardly believe that! It seems like just yesterday that I met him for his newborn session. I joked with his mommy about dressing him like a little man for these photos – isn’t he cute??

This weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph my first twin cake smash and boy, was it fun! I knew that my home studio wouldn’t quite be big enough for two babies (who can crawl away FAST!) so I was lucky enough to know a friend and fellow photographer in the area who allowed me to use her studio! I could probably share at least ten super adorable images of these two cutie pies, but I HAD to choose just a few, so here goes!

I typically don’t have three newborns (plus my other sessions) in one week, but this busy one did!
On Monday, I had a very special boy in my studio. He was born about a month early and while he got to go right home from the hospital, his mommy did not. She hasn’t gotten to see him yet, but when she awakes, these photos will help her to see just how tiny he was as a newborn. What an honor it is to have been asked to document this time for them. If you could spare a prayer for Grant’s mommy, we would all appreciate it. Isn’t he a doll?
On Tuesday, I got to meet this little princess. She was definitely a curious little thing – always keeping one eye open to see what I was doing! I did manage to get her to snooze for a bit of time, though, to capture her cuteness.
And this morning, I got to snuggle with this cutie pie. Those cheeks! Those rolls! Oh, how I wish that cheeks and rolls were as adorable at 30+ years old like they are at 6 days.
I hope you enjoyed this peek at the baby boom of the week!

This tiny sweetheart surprised all of us by arriving a full month before her expected due date! I only just met with her mommy & daddy for maternity portraits. Looking back, we had debated either doing them Jan. 2nd or Jan. 9th. Well, Miss Yara was born on the 8th, so it was a good thing we scheduled them for New Year’s weekend after all!!
At only 5.5lbs, she’s one of the littlest babies I’ve photographed, but she was one of the best sleepers and oh, so bendy! Enjoy the peek of this tiny princess!

Last weekend was a whirlwind of babies! This month, I have EIGHT Milestones babies who are turning 3 months or 6 months old and four of them came to the studio this past weekend. You’ve met them all before, but here’s a sneak peek of the cuteness!
Meet Emma – she was not a happy camper when I met her back in October for her newborn session. But she was all smiles for me this time. I truly enjoyed hanging out with her, and she didn’t mind hanging out in a bunch of my baskets, either! What a ham!
Meet Axton – he was photographed with his big brother and sister when he was 3 months old, but this one was ALL HIM! He totally rocked the baby bum shots, but I wanted to post one with his clothes on too, just for good measure!
Meet Belle – she has the most amazing hair I’ve ever seen – even as a newborn! It is at least 2 inches long all around her head, sticks straight out, and feels as soft as rabbit fur. Oh, and don’t you just want to reach in and squeeze her cheeks? I could just eat her up.
Meet Daylin – she is quite the Diva. After her newborn and 3 month sessions, her mommy developed a game plan for this shoot complete with layers to easily change the look of our shots without changing clothes (which she hates!). She does love her giraffes, though – and I just love her Gerber-baby face!
