Although she made me work for it, some of my all-time favorite newborn photos are in this little (well, if a 9lb 14oz baby can be called ‘little’) newborn’s gallery! She definitely wasn’t the soundest sleeper I’ve ever photographed, but the hard work paid off in these shots! What dreamy cheeks she has!!

I just had to sneak peek a few of these beautiful family photos from last night’s beach session. It was a celebration – with 14 family members from Virginia and Canada (yep, our neighbor to the north!) celebrating these twins’ baptism weekend. They are absolutely the cutest pair I’ve seen – well since my last pair of cuties! :D But seriously, don’t these two melt your heart?

Technically, you’ve met her before…her birth story was featured on the blog recently! But here is her first official portrait session. She was over nine pounds at birth and I just loved cuddling all those rolls. Her mommy brought this Minnie Mouse hat and diaper cover along and it was so adorable!
She started smiling almost immediately –and they were the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen!
Finally, her big brother came to the studio and he was ‘too cool’!

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day today as we welcomed home the heroes of the VFA-81. The skies were blue, the sun was shining and the temperatures cooled just enough to make it picture perfect!
Remember this little sweetheart? One of my favorite newborn photos ever!
Well, she’s 7 months old now, and her Daddy came home today after being gone for most of her little life! And she was so excited to see him!
