You’ll probably recognize this beauty from previous blog posts! Her mommy was the only one who signed up for a Valentine Mini-Session, so there was not enough interest for them to be held this year. Fortunately, I needed a model for a special project I have been working on and she was more than willing to come over and pose! Isn’t she a doll? I can’t wait for her 1st birthday cake smash session coming up in a few months!
And, since we’re on the topic of Valentines, I snapped a few of my own two kiddos with this Valentine backdrop. When they aren’t fighting like cats and dogs, they really *do* love each other! <3

I was so excited when one of my clients-turned-friend approached me with the idea of photographing the Sunliners Wives’ Club in their flight suit dresses! They wanted to send some beautiful photos to their husbands who are serving our country overseas. And these ladies did not disappoint – every single one of them was dressed to the nines and very natural models! I could have posted at least three favorites of each one here…it was crazy hard to choose! Enjoy a peek into the gorgeous wives of these heroic pilots. Godspeed, Sunliners and thanks to not only them, but their wives and children for their sacrifices.

I was contacted by this little guy’s grandmother just a few weeks before his arrival. My family travels out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday, and I was not sure that I would be able to return to Virginia Beach in time to capture his birth, but told her I would be on standby for the big day. Turns out, I was able to make it just in time to capture her scheduled c-section and the slideshow of his birth is below. Please take a moment to watch after you sigh at his beautiful newborn portraits. He was such a great model for me!

I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little girl as a newborn and she’s grown so much since I last saw her. Her hair is just amazing, too! Enjoy a peek at sweet Charlee!

Our mini-sessions with Santa and Mrs. Claus were a huge success! All the kids looked so adorable and most of them were really excited to see the big man himself. Even those little ones who were a big frightened by the red suit were captured with those pretty twinkle lights to commemorate the holiday season.
I captured a lot of smiles, some tears, and even some really funny expressions! Here’s a compliation of some of my favorite moments! (Couldn’t fit them all in, sorry, guys!)
