Sleepiest.Newborn.Ever

That was the title of this blog post until I decided that was a bit of overkill!  🙂  But seriously, he was amazing.  Sweet, sleepy, bendy, easy to pose….he did poop all over get my white blanket just a wee bit yucky within the first 5 minutes of our shoot, but what can you expect with someone who’s only 6 days old?  I think I’m going to suggest that all newborns are photographed on Day Six.  I don’t know what it is, but I’m pretty sure that every newborn I’ve had on their sixth day of life has been the easiest to pose because they are such amazing sleepers!  Check out how many different things we did with Mr. Sleepyhead – and I have quite a few more, if you can believe that!

One of my new favorites – his mommy had this elephant and asked if we could try to use it.  I said, “Absolutely!”, having no idea how I was going to pull it off.  But with this precious boy, it worked like a charm!

I am adding this last one just so that his daddy knows that it was well worth it.  You can imagine what happened when we were setting up for this one, right?  I so wish I had a video camera when the “accident” happened! 😀
