A tiny fighter {Sneak Peek} | Virginia Beach Newborn Photography

When I was contacted last week by this 6 week old's mommy, I thought it would probably be better if we waited until he was about 3 months old to do a session.  I typically reserve my newborn sessions for babies under 14 days old, since they are only sleepy and bendy for a brief period of time after birth.  And, it's only a little while longer to wait until baby starts smiling and cooing if a baby is already over a month old.  But when I heard their story, I knew this one might be different.  Born early - at only 34 weeks - this little fighter has already been through surgery and recovery and is finally home with his family where he belongs!  And what a beautiful family they are.

I was super excited when I spied his daddy's (or was it his grandpa's?) football and couldn't wait to get this little guy in a deep enough sleep to prop him up on it.  And he slept like a dream!!
