Liam - a 2 month newborn {Sneak Peek} | Virginia Beach Newborn Photographer
Meet Liam. He is one of my oldest newborns to date. My policy is that newborns have to be under 14 days old (preferably under 10 days) because that is when they are the sleepiest and bendiest (is that a word?) and I can get them into all sorts of fun squishy positions after they are in what I call a "milk coma". :D But this little guy spent the first couple of months of his life in the NICU at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Some of you might remember his momma's maternity portraits - taken the day he was born! She was not in labor, not even close to her due date, so we did not expect that we were cutting it quite that close. She signed up for one of my Davis family Mini-Sessions and it's a good thing she did because Liam came roaring into the world that night! Thankfully, he is doing VERY well now and has developed quite the chubby cheeks and little roly-poly baby body that I just adore. But he was not keen on sleeping (as I had imagined). This first shot shows you just how much he fought it:
What he didn't know is that I have some tricks up my sleeve and he finally succumbed to my newborn charms....and then the fun began! He was chillaxin' here - I totally did NOT pose him. He did this all by himself! :)
And these sweet baby back rolls are just heavenly!
And finally, one with my favorite hat that is becoming the most popular for boys (I think nearly every mom has requested this one!)
