Superhero and Dinosaur Cake Smash | Hampton Roads 1st Birthday Baby Photographer

Two of my favorite first birthday cake smash sessions on the blog today!  I had so much fun planning these smashes.  Sometimes I hear the moms of boys say that there isn't as much 'cute stuff' available for boys as there is for girls. But I disagree - and these two cake smashes prove it! First up, is Gabriel - his family moved out of the area a few months after signing up for our Milestones Plan, so we had to do a bit of a schedule change.  His first birthday cake smash session was just a little early, but he was totally ready to eat some cake!

Next up is this special little guy, Gavin.  You may remember him from his newborn session or other Milestones Plan sessions - he sports some pretty serious scars from his incredible journey of surgeries over his first year.  He is a warrior and such a sweet baby who has a very special place in my heart!  Tutu Cute Cakes of Chesapeake, Virginia created an amazing cake and set for his smash.  He is our Superhero, so we put together a skyline and super cake just for Gavin!
