We love 1st birthdays around here! Ebony of Tutu Cute Cakes and I have so much fun coming up with backdrops and designs for each of our cake smash sessions. In April, we had a pirate theme, a nautical theme, and an ice cream social! Fun times!

Presley was such a doll baby during her session. I just love her hair and those cheeks!! Her big brothers weren’t so excited about taking pictures this day, but she was the perfect little model!

Nolan’s mommy came to me for her maternity session a few months ago and I have been anticipating his newborn session ever since. She had a lot of ideas and I was happy to put her ideas into action!

One of my favorite things to capture is the itty bitty parts of a newborn – their little fingers and toes, their ears, lips, eyelashes….all of the parts that make them unique and yours!

I was a little worried when this mama called and told me that she had recently decided she couldn’t LIVE without newborn pictures of her sweet little girl, but she was already past my usual 14 day window. But I happened to have an opening and she said little Mallory was a really great sleeper. […]

This little guy had the biggest smiles in store for me. I just love when I am able to capture the sleepy grins of a newborn!

We welcomed home the sailors of the USS Forrest Sherman and I was so glad to be there to capture these special moments!

Sweet four month olds – it’s so amazing to see how they grow in just the first few months.  Truly a joy to have them back in the studio for the first of their Milestones Plan sessions!!!

Sweet Lucy returned to the studio for her first birthday cake smash and I was so excited to use this vintage candy shoppe backdrop for her smash!  Her mommy also brought the fluffiest tutu I’ve ever seen for her birthday portraits!!
