This cake smash is so soft, sweet, and…..well, ANGELIC!

Coming up with new ways to create a beach themed cake smash is as fun as it is challenging! Xander’s crab themed swim wear was our inspiration for this one and we had so much fun with his streamer background and ‘crabby’ cake!

Downtown graffiti cake smash! Okay, so we weren’t downtown, and that isn’t real graffiti. But it was fun to pretend. Well, it was fun until he decided it wasn’t fun anymore. LOL!

I have been hoping to do a cake smash with a circus theme for quite a while now and this one did not disappoint! Love these boyish colors and how especially loved how much Oliver DUG into his cake! A boy after my own heart!!!

I was thrilled when I heard that the theme of choice for this session was ‘pinwheels and polkadots’. I loved the idea and it turned out every bit as beautiful as I imagined!

We love 1st birthdays around here! Ebony of Tutu Cute Cakes and I have so much fun coming up with backdrops and designs for each of our cake smash sessions. In April, we had a pirate theme, a nautical theme, and an ice cream social! Fun times!

Sweet Lucy returned to the studio for her first birthday cake smash and I was so excited to use this vintage candy shoppe backdrop for her smash!  Her mommy also brought the fluffiest tutu I’ve ever seen for her birthday portraits!!

This Australian themed cake smash absolutely rocked!  Since his daddy is from Australia, we decided to take those elements and really celebrate.  What a fun time we had smashing, too!
