Meet Amanda

Amanda opened Kimberlin Gray Photography in 2009 and specializes in maternity, birth, and newborn portraits. Her posed newborn sessions, held in the KGP studio, have been loved by hundreds of Hampton Roads families over the past 10 years. An award-winning photographer, Amanda has been featured in many publications & been asked to speak at the 2015 and 2017 Off-Call Conference for Birth Photographers and teaches other photographers through the Birthbound Photographer. As a former elementary school teacher and mother of two herself, she has always had a wonderful rapport with babies and children of all ages, which helps her to capture true smiles and incredibly natural portraits.

Meet Breanna

Breanna is our studio & office assistant. She’s a mom of three little ones and puts her skills to work during newborn sessions by helping to wrangle toddlers and engage with them so that Amanda can get those perfect, natural smiles! She is a recovering photographer (ha!) who got her first camera when she was 4 years old and has always loved photography and definitely has caught the travel bug! Being a former Navy family, she has a keen understanding of our military community and has lived in both FL & VA. When she’s not traveling the world, she can be found gardening or completing yet another DIY project with her kids at home!
